Bear Valentine Card

This is a picture I took on the fly of a Valentine card I made with my 2-year-old granddaughter. She loves to be in the craft room and thought making this bear was fun. It is all made with different sized circle and heart punches. Very fast and easy. If you don't have the punches you could certainly use your cutting machine. It is a great project to make with kids! I found this in an old Cardmaker magazine from several years ago while I was cleaning out my stash this past weekend. Hope you give it a try!

Valentine Card

This A2 card was made with Strawberry Slush and Whisper White cardstock using the "Hey, Valentine" stamp set from the new Occasions Stampin' Up! Catalog. Heart punched from heart in Itty Bitty Accents punch set. Very simple card to make. Color as much or as little of the image as you would like. All products are available at my store. Link below. Thanks for looking today! I love Valentine's Day so there will be more to follow!

Very Quick Thank You Cards

I LOVE black and white. I used the Back to Black DSP #13370 and whisper white cardstock. The "Thank You" is stamped with the Four You stamp set #130538. This is a very versatile stamp set because it also comes with a cute "hello" stamp, "Birthday Wishes" and "Thinking of You."

Quick Thank You Card

This is a quick thank you card using whisper white cardstock folded to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Another layer of whisper white was used cut at 1/4 inch smaller on all four sides and lifted up with dimensionals. A piece of Park Lane DSP was cut 1/8th inch smaller on all four sides and attached directly on top of the white piece. Then I stamped "thanks", cut it out with the modern label punch, layered it on top of the curly label punch and then that was attached on top of the large oval punched piece. The white pieces were sponged around the edges with blackberry bliss ink which is the color in the DSP and coordinating piece cut with the curly label punch. Rhinestone accents were added to either side of the "thanks."

Reindeer Christmas Card

This is one of my Christmas cards this year. I used Stampin' Up Real Red cardstock, Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack, and Endless Wishes Christmas stamp set. The reindeer was cut with my Cricut using the Create a Critter cartridge. I find that Stampin' Up cardstock is the best for cutting images like this. It makes a nice and sturdy cut-out. I used kraft cardstock for the reindeer and sponged him with Early Espresso ink. I just added googly eyes to bring him to life!

Gift Card Holder

Gift Card Holder

Here is a gift card holder I made to hold my Stampin' Up! gift certificates, but you could use it for any gift card, etc. You cut two pieces of cardstock 4" x 12", score down the middle of each piece, and cut at angles on both sides to make the crossover. Then I covered each side and the inside of the card with coordinating papers. Finished size is 4x6.

Let the Journey Begin

I have been an avid stamper, crafter, scrapbooker and cardmaker ever since my daughter-in-law got me hooked 15 years ago. I love collecting stamps, cardstock, designer series papers, punches, and everything in between. I recently became a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator.  Everything Stampin’ Up! sells is great quality and I highly recommend their products!

I have been married for over 40 years and have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren. My grandkids have been stampers and crafters over the years and now my 2-year-old granddaughter likes to be in on the action. She asks to “stamp!”

Whether you are a beginner or a pro, I hope you follow along with me in my new journey. I will share my love of stamping, cardmaking, scrapbooking, and crafting. I  would be honored to earn your business as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and either continue your love of stamping and crafting or provide you with a new fun way to be creative!

Let the journey begin!
